There are many “little Italies” in North America, but none quite like the Toronto Little Italy on College Street between Bathurst and Ossington. Toronto’s Little Italy equates to top restaurants, multicultural residents, vibrant nightlife, sidewalk cafes and shopping. It is reputable neighbourhood with many characteristics desirable to someone looking to buy a home in Toronto.

Home buyers and sellers need to find neighbourhood experience in their realtor. Toronto Little Italy is a specialty of Elliot’s and here is a little about the area:

College Street itself is fronted with two and three storey buildings housing mainly cafes and restaurants on the ground floor and residential units on the upper floor (although there are many other types of businesses). Hundred-year-old detached and semi-detached single family homes with front porches and small lots are found mainly on the side streets. Although named Little Italy due to the Italian mass immigration history, today area residents come from a variety of backgrounds.

The area draws young people for its nightlife and proximity to downtown Toronto, and it is home to a significant amount of young professionals. If you are a young professional seeking a realtor, Toronto Little Italy expert Elliot George can help you.
